Rainbows and Brownies

Rainbows and Brownies are the younger sections of girlguiding UK. Rainbows is for 4 – 7 year olds ( we currently ask that 4 year olds have done at least one term at school ), Brownies is for 7 – 10 year olds. We do lots of fun activities, crafts, badge work, trips out and also have sessions with outside visitors coming in to talk to us. Hilton Flower Club

The Flower Club meet the first Monday in February, March, April, May (not 2023), September, October, November & December at 2.00 pm until 4.00 pm.

Each month there is something different for everyone to enjoy. There are demonstrators showing us how to produce wonderful arrangements, workshops where everyone can follow instruction and go home with a lovely display. Once a year there is a speaker/slide show telling us about gardens and plants.

Usually between 30 and 40 people from local villages come along and enjoy a cup of tea/coffee/biscuits and a chat following the meeting.

Once a year we plan a day out to either a house/garden with transport and lunch included.

There is no annual membership fee but a charge of £6 per visit and extra for workshops to cover the cost of flowers etc
